Dedicated Window Servers

Window servers are companies whose job is to ensure other corporations or businesses that there host servers are being managed properly and thoroughly.  They ensure that companies most critical information and files are secured and running properly.  The dedicate themselves to not only building but also managing, maintaining and guarding all their windows servers.  There are many companies that will claim to be dedicated to guarding your servers, but this is a huge leap of faith to take in an outside company and you want to make sure that you can trust the people hosting your servers. 

 

When searching for a window server, you want to make sure to of a few things:

• How long has this company been managing servers?
• What do their customer reviews say about them?
• How many other corporations trust them to do the same thing you are asking them to do?
• How can they assure you that your information is being maintained and protected properly?
• How much do they cost?

These are extremely important questions when looking into these services.  Many people do not investigate thoroughly enough before the decide on a company and go with their services.  Soon after that they will find that the company is doing nothing, and their information is not safe and secured.  I have heard of horror stories, of companies almost going under due to faulty window servers.  You do not want this to be the case for you or your company.

Obviously if a company tells you that they have been doing window serving for only few years, I would be at the very least hesitant to trust them.  You want to feel more then adequately managed and protected by only the most diligent and reliable company, with at least five to ten years of experience.  My motto is, is that If it is were not enough experience to babysit my kids, your not babysitting my company. 

When you go to check up on their customer reviews, if you see an overwhelming amount of disgrunteled customers, I would bet they are not the company to go for.  Obviously you will find disgruntled customers no matter where you go, but when you see nothing but, that is a direct sign of major problems and I would suggest running in the opposite direction. 

I would ask to see how many people that they are covering at the time that you check out the company.  The rule of thumb that I tend to go with, is the more, the merrier.  The more companies, corporations or people who decide to have their most valuable things handled by this windows server provider, the better.  If you see that you are only one of a few who are receiving service that would raise major questions.  Such as why?

I always like to ask all the ways that they can assure me that my information will be proetected properly.  You want to hear things such as twenty-four-seven, seven days a week and three-hundred and sixty-five days a year.  Those are usually music to my ears, and allow me to rest easier at night. 

Finally and most importantly how much will these services cost you.  Now here is the deal, can you really put a price on the security of your life?  You must be willing and able to pay for the service that you are getting.  If you want nothing but the best, then you will pay nothing but the best for the service.  You do not get anything for free and if you do, it is typically not good.
